We are excited bring the community together to reconnect following the last few months of challenges. Together we can welcome the 'new normal', all while enjoying great entertainment - for the kids gumboot throwing, sack races, face painting and a baby lamb to feed. For the adults - beautiful scenery, farm tour and Tasmanian singer/song writer Dani Quilliam. Not to mention delicious food.

Mount Gnomon is run by Guy who is the proud owner and custodian of this beautiful farm just outside of Penguin, which will be the perfect venue for some quality paddock time with friend and family. Guy is a fifth generation Tasmanian farmer who is not only proud to be Tasmanian but fortunate enough to own and share his beautiful farm happy free range pigs, cows, sheep, chickens and a host of international and local visitors and guests.

We are going to be truly spoilt with amazing food - light lunch will be provided at the event, as well as a beautiful backdrop to the event, perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends new and old. All those attending will get a sneak peak at the barn that Guy has been constructing before its official opening at the end of the month!

Rural Alive & Well Inc. (RAW) is a not-for-profit organisation helping individuals, families and communities through mental health issues with a focus on suicide prevention. RAW reach out to rural Tasmanians, and work with communities to undertake well-being initiatives. The last few months have meant that for some our normal support networks haven't been in place. This event is all about building those networks and reconnecting.

Attendees will get a sneak peek at the beautiful barn (pictured) at Mount Gnomon before its official opening! This function centre has only recently been completed and its official grand opening is in late July. Regardless of the weather we will be able to hold the event thanks to this beautiful building. We'll head inside if the weather isn't kind to us, but otherwise we'll be out in the paddock enjoying fresh air and beautiful views. Make sure to come with warm clothes and water proof shoes and you'll be ready for anything Mother Nature decides to throw at us!
