About the event

Join us for a morning session on weed identification, control & best practice spray application. Presented by Agronomist Heather Cosgriff (TWiA recipient of RIRDC Encouragement Award) & Rhiannon Denney, Spray Shop Tasmania Manager, the session will cover:

• What constitutes a weed, why we control them and any gov regulations (prescribed weed lists)

• Plant identification ; grasses vs broadleaf.

• Descriptions used to identify plant parts.

• Common Tas weeds of farms and roadsides.

• Weed control processes: cultural, mechanical & chemical.
